Full Moon in Aquarius

The Moon is fully illuminated in Aquarius, backed by multiple planetary transits supporting this new gnosis.

Perhaps it is my Venus return in Leo that is currently undergoing a retrograde, but my creative impulse is also under review. I am not certain where I will take my content creation in regards to astrology and my Moon-day Musing entries, but I do feel it is important to address the bigger transits the collective and individuals may be undergoing. It keeps me in tune with the bigger cycle, and I find grounding in following the stars motion. My goal with addressing these through my blog and socials is to also offer my readers the same gnosis and solace. As the Venus retrograde progresses, I do think my own vision will as well.

With that said, this week I want to reflect on what is coming through on Tuesday August 1. There is a Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 9 degrees. On this same day, the ruler of the Full Moon, Saturn is opposing Mercury across the Pisces/Virgo axis at 5 degrees. Also in the sign of Virgo, Mars is trining Jupiter (Pisces ruler) in Taurus at 13 degrees.

Let us break this down into bite size pieces.

Saturn and Mercury are talking, albeit in a more strong-headed and tension-filled sense. Mercury currently has the upper hand, being in his home sign with dual royalties, through domicile and exaltation.

Mercury in Virgo can be a period of more precise thought, words, and organized action.

Saturn’s time in Pisces may be concerning filtering toxins and at the same point containing thoughts and emotions that tend to run us over. Both of these instantces have the potential to remove and isolate us from others.

The conversation occurring between these two planets may be drawing us to be forthright of what we are thinking and how we are going about asking? Are we being real with ourself and with others? Have we begun to isolate ourself in protest against harder conversations that we are avoiding?

Mars in Virgo helps execute action but at times can make us hotheaded, quick lipped, and we may find our words to be cutting.

Jupiter in Taurus adds grace and expansion to expanding wisdom, creativity and beauty. If it is in a challenging placement, it can make us root further into our stubbornness or fixed into behaviors that deplete our compassion, our kindness, our ability to shift perspective.

When Mars and Jupiter meet through a trine, a helpful and expansive aspect, we may find greater ease and assitance in shifting our mindset, blessing our words with greater compassion, and moving in a more thoughtful and open direction.

The build up, waxing of lunar light reflected through the phases of the Moon

Let us tie both of these transits into the Full Moon in Aquarius on the same day. This Moon lights up Aquarius, the sign that focuses heavily on the welfare and direction of the collective. This sign is in opposition to Leo, the sign focused on individualism and personal autonomy. Could it be when all of these aspects meet in the sky on Tuesday August 1, we ourself and the collective, reflect on our relationship to one another, our relationship to community vs self. Can the light of this Full Moon pop the isolated bubble we may have subconsciously place ourself in. What is your relationship to others? To your community? To your workplace? To your family? How can we integrate in more a balanced and cohesive relationship that remembers the other’s perspective?

The fading, waning of lunar light reflected through the phases of the Moon

The next aspects of the Moon as she departs from her fullness is a square to Jupiter in Taurus, challenging us to zoom further into ourself to pull our heart out of the cage we may of set it in, maybe we needed to this initially for our own protection. The Moon will then conjoin Saturn in Pisces and this may just be the catalyst to tear those walls down and allow ourself to swim in deeper, spirited waters of love, compassion, and insight.

Have a safe and illuminated week.
