Erupting Worldviews

Planetary sign shifts, specifically outer planets as Neptune, can be felt as tectonic plates shifting the collective.

Neptune, a planet often associated with creative instincts, spiritual concepts, and illusory worlds is making big moves. Neptune creeps through the heavens, completing a full zodiac revolution on average of 165 years, and will enter Aries on March 30, 2025. This ingress comes one day after the final Aries Solar eclipse. The last time Neptune entered Aries was a day after the civil war began, April 13, 1861.

The planetary ingress to any zodiacal sign suggests a mood change. Similar to a tectonic plate shifting, the transition can be a gentle rumbling under the feet or a volcanic eruption. Neptune entrance into Aries, has real potential for being loud, disorienting, and for some, a complete eruption of their worldview.

Neptune will dip back into Pisces on October 22, 2025 and remain until January 26, 2026. A good period to go back and retrieve your dreams, your heart, your soul.

Neptune, who floats in comfort in the boundless and generative waters of dreamy Pisces, enters the dry and hot lava fields of Aries. I am reminded of night hiking in Hawaii’s Volcano National Park. We would go at dusk and watch the ground beneath our feet begin to glow as the hot magma swirled under our soles. Heat radiated in all directions, humid air to the radiant stone.

We would walk to the edge of the black, jagged earth and look down into the waves, and watch fire spew into the ocean. The island was growing under this violent and chaotic eruption, creating sharp, jagged reefs. Eventually such hikes would be banned due to the danger and unpredicatable nature, yet I knew then I was viewing something really unique and quite natural. A death and rebirth cycle.

Bring forth the medicine of Neptune in Pisces into Aries, it will be your best weapon navigating new, foreign, MARtian terrain.

Neptune’s time in Aries may be a bit more active in reimagining and rebuilding our own personal and collective reefs. Beware the terrain is hot and cutting in the temple of Aries, but you will begin to understand it.  Unlike Pisces, where Neptune was prone to work with the collective and get lost in the digital landscape it has dreamt up, we may find ourself marooned on our own island and ditching any form of linked-in, technological prisons. At first we may feel like a cast away, uncertain of navigating the analog sky. Yet the sky will eventually clear and the stars you require will come into view.

The planet Saturn will join Neptune shortly, and they will be unlikely bedfellows for some time. Similar to the hiking bans in the lava fields, Saturn will apply constraints to a romantic notion. Both relearning the rules and loopholes of Aries and their place within the firestorm. The two will work together to redefine boundaries, tear down outworn ideas and build walls to insulate new paradigms. Saturn will be a check to your fantasy, and Neptune will lend some space to dream even when stockpiling warheads.

This year is just a preview of both Neptune and Saturn entering the martian landscape of Aries. Both call out for freedom, independence, and a level of detachment. 2026 really awakens us from the dream, and we find ourselves swapping digital for analog, and penning our own myth. Do not forget the medicine from Pisces, when Neptune reenters the spiritual sea in October, retrieve any lessons your soul forgot.

The magma does eventually cool, new earth is formed, new potentials, new rules, new life.
